CDMi Limited, formerly Armtec Media Management Ltd., was established in 1998 by Derek Armitage, managing director. Prior to starting-up in business, Derek was employed for many years as a building services engineer with Hulley & Kirkwood, one of the UK’s leading consulting engineers. This sound engineering background underpins the company's ability to deliver concise and client focused services.

In 2010 the directors took a dynamic step and agreed to re-brand the company as CDMi Limited to more accurately portray current and future business commitments relative to the CDM Regulations 2007. The new corporate brand aims to redefine the company image as a forward thinking, sustainable business which values its clients and staff alike.

As one of the UK’s most respected providers of CDM documentation, our philosophy is to expand on our reputation for delivering innovative, integrated and sustainable document solutions for the built environment.

As a measure of our commitment and acumen to deliver fit for purpose handover documentation that not only meets CDM requirements but takes a common sense approach to health, safety and the environment, the company has elected to be registered as a corporate member with APS (Association for Project Safety) and has membership with the British Safety Council. CDMi embraces TQM and is actively working towards accreditation with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems.
